Little Hoopster

Check out his funky "striped" outfit! I don't normally dress my child so horridly, but he had a blowout with his first outfit, so he got to wear this. Can't miss his left-handed slam dunk!

Sweetheart Crawl

This weekend Randy was able to DJ a "Sweetheart Dance" that Willy put together for his ward. It was fun and very entertaining. Randy received several compliments on his music selection and everyone seemed to have a pretty good time. They had this cute setup for pictures, and actually printed the pics there and gave them to you to take home. I love my little family!
Here's Jill leading everyone in the Cha Cha Slide. Notice Tripp is also doing the slide with Uncle Brian. We also did the electric slide and the hokey pokey!
There was also a Newlywed game. It was super hilarious to hear some of these contestants' responses to the questions. Brian and Jenny won by a long shot. They ended up winning.............. a new car! It was a cute little remote control car.
When we were doing laundry, we saw this bumblebee costume in the closet and had to put it on Tripp. I love this face he's making, "Seriously guys, a bumblebee."
And it has a cute little stinger! This is probably the only time it will fit, so we had to try it out.

Here's my crazy crawling man! When we stayed at Willy and Carol's house, he was so excited that he knew how to crawl that he was actually crawling in circles in their rec room! What a goofball!

Crazy Little Man

Tripp decided to learn Russian with me, so here he is with headphones and the playaway. He's such a little munchkin!
Randy decided to put Tripp's pants on his head and evertime I tried to get a picture from the side, Tripp would follow the camera. He actually left them on his head for a long time and continued to play, what a little wierdo. Look how much he drools! He soaks his clothes almost everyday.
Tripp's latest obsession is walking with his parents. He gets mad and throws a fit if we don't walk with him. He also crawled for the first time today! I can't believe how much he has grown! He's going to be running around terrorizing everything in no time. And T-Lo, everytime I pulled out the camera he would stop growling, so maybe I'll catch him by surprise sometime.

Pah-rooh-ski

My latest adventure has been attempting to learn Russian. Randy served his mission in Ukraine, so I thought it would be neat to learn the language. I got a preloaded mp3 player from the library with Russian lessons on it, and the first day I tried it Randy was with me and he said he couldn't understand what I was trying to say. It's difficult for my tongue to spit out some of those crazy sounds. But I've been practicing for a week and Randy said I'm starting to sound pretty good. I can only say a handful of words but I'm working on it. The title means the Russian language. I found out that Tripp speaks Russian too, he says "Da," all the time and that means "yes." And of course I had to post some pics of my handsome man.
I love this pic! He's in a tigger robe that is way too small for him, but still adorable.

Tripp has decided he is big enough to feed himself. Which makes feeding times extremely difficult and messy. Not only was he covered in rice cereal but I was as well. (seriously covered, it was on my face, neck, shirt, and pants.)And we went to the doctor today and when we were checking in, Randy saw this sticker in the basket. So I just had to take it. Pretty sweet, huh? I don't usually find my name on those keychain and licence plate trinkets, so I thought it was pretty cool to find it on a sticker.

Pure Craziness

Randy and I were able to visit my family for the Holidays. Tripp and I flew out together a week before Randy did -that was quite the adventure. I was pretty surprised at how helpful strangers are when you travel alone with a baby. I was offered a free coffee (too bad I don't drink the nasty stuff) and people carried my stuff for me, it was great. I was worried about how Tripp would act on the plane. I didn't really want to deal with any tantrums. But we were able to get a free seat and I kept his car seat with me and he slept in it the entire flight. whew! Our flight was delayed an hour and I was worried Randy wasn't going to make it for Christmas, because Seattle airport was closed a few days. He made it to Idaho safe and sound and when he arrived he insisted on riding the snowmobiles, since he's never been on one before. So here's the men in my life on the snowmobile for the first time ever, and yes those are socks on Tripp's hands -had to keep him warm somehow. Randy is also wearing my pink goggles. We were also pulled behind it on a tube, that was crazy! I fell off a couple of times and my body was surprisingly sore the next day.On Christmas day, at about 6 am, the power went off. There was a huge wind/snow storm all night and we had no power on Christmas morning. So we opened presents by lantern, candle light, and flashlights. It was actually pretty cool. See how tired Tripp is in the pic? Thank you Aunt Zayna for waking us up at 7 am! Not Cool!We were all a bit tired. I loved how all of them zonked out at the same time! Tripp is top left, then Asher, and Zelda on the bottom. Such adorable cousins! Here's a few more pics from our vacation: (Randy and I found that we never take enough pics, oh well)This is Zelda, trying to be helpful, showing them how to play with the drums. It's actually pretty rare to see Zelda with her clothes on. One minute she has clothes and the next minute they've disappeared.

I love these little guys in their matching outfits.
Zelda got a pink purse and glasses for Christmas and I couldn't resist putting them on Tripp. He totally looks like a girl in this pic.Being silly with Grandpa Before we got on the plane to fly home, Zayna and Steve took us to Boondocks to play in the arcade. Zayna and Zelda enjoyed crawling around on the toddler toy.Randy and Tripp riding the purple dinosaur. It was fun being able to see my family again and relax and play. We enjoyed our Holidays with family and are happy to be home now.
