Big 4

My little monster turned 4 today! A lady in my ward made this fun balloon bouquet for him. It's a good thing I took a pic since it didn't even last 2 hours at our house before the kids were popping them with pens. Not sure if you can see Deko's ridiculously filthy face in this pic or not.
Free lunch started at the school across the street today. So we took some cupcakes to share with friends. Tripp wanted strawberry cupcakes with green (cream cheese) frosting. They were super yummy! We played at the park afterwards in the beautiful sunshine.
Tripp wanted to eat at Burger King for dinner. We ate and played on the big toy there. He got an Iron Man lunch box and was excited about it. He told me that he likes Birthdays so I guess he had a pretty good day. Happy Birthday Trippy!

For Silly Sar

This post is for Sarah and my mom-who just can't handle waiting for the news to get out. I am pregnant! I just so happen to be due on Christmas. Can you think of a worse due date than that? So seriously, if there are any other prego ladies out there who want to switch due dates, mine is up for grabs. It would be nice to have baby a few weeks early-say on 12-12-12. Tripp was 2 weeks early and Deko came on his due date, so we'll just have to see what happens with this one.
On another note, this is my little Deko in time-out. He was so cute sitting there that I couldn't help but take a pic of him. Which I think completely defeated the purpose of time-out since he whipped around and gave me a big grin after I took the picture. Oh naughty boys, I agree with Tripp -he better be getting a baby sister this time!

Preschool Days

Today was my last day teaching these preschool clowns. It was fun! I usually put on a clip of Sesame Street for the letter of the day. I thought it was funny that they all wanted to squish together on the same couch. Left to right: Kobi, Kinley, Gabe, Lilah, and Tripp.
Today was the letter E. So I made Edible finger paint. It is just pudding and food coloring. They loved it! I gave them spoons at the end to eat it-which I think was their favorite part.
And Deklan likes to feel like he is part of the group, so he is up there eating with the rest of the hoodlums.
I didn't want to send these soggy masterpieces home with them. Probably not the best thing to carry in a car. Got to love Deko's in the bottom right corner. He was only interested in eating. I figured I should pull the camera out at least once during preschool. I should have taken pics when I had the letter B -We celebrated the letter B's birthday. They even sang to the letter and blew out a candle. Oh well, there's always next year, right?
