Color Party

Mom and Dan came to visit us the first week of January. I decided to find our the gender while they were here. My mom wanted to come to the ultrasound with me and I said she could but that she couldn't see the gender. So she didn't come. Then she was holding the envelope with the gender inside up to the light to cheat. Later she even tried out the ultrasound machine in Randy's office on me. -but we couldn't tell what we were looking at. I decided that I must get my impatience from her😊 I gave the envelope to my sweet visiting teacher and my mother and the rest of us had to wait a whole day to find out. My mom decorated my chalkboard like this for the gender party:
I made team pink and team blue stickers and had people put them on as they came in. I also had pink and blue balloons they could blow up and write their names on. I saw a lot of pink guesses. Willy even took one of each so he could pull the right one out after the reveal. I wore my blue shirt and put my team blue sticker on my belly. Randy's cousin, Tyler, said, "You're not on team blue!" I replied, "I am on Team Not Disappointed."

It was a fun night and I enjoyed it. My aunt said that when you are good at something you might as well stick to it. Can't wait to meet this little man at the end of May!

Office Evolution

Randy finally decided that we are too noisy for him to be working in our house. So, he had an office built in our front yard. They started on July 4th. When we came home from fireworks at the Fuller's house, there were huge dirt hills piled up. The kids shouted, "What happened?!?!" I replied, "Those darn moles!" It will be a sad day when I can't tease them anymore.

I tried to take pics of the various stages but it is clear that I missed a few. The almost completed product! We just need the concrete poured in front of the door and to hang the blinds. The first time they poured it, they slanted the concrete the wrong way and the office would flood every time it rained.
 Hard at Work!

Randy has enjoyed working in his silence. Tripp and Deko love to go in there in the morning and read their scriptures before they get on the bus. Raidy says it smells good in there and likes to visit Dad. It has been nice being able to be noisy in our own home again, but I miss Randy being just a yell away. Now I have to go outside to talk to him.
