Sweet Baby Ray!

Here is Raidon John! Born on Sunday December 16th, at 8:11 am.
Weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. Once I saw that I briefly considered naming him Slurpee. 20 inches long
Here he is ready to go home and finally get some sleep!
And look at that hair! He is the first baby I've had with hair and I'm so excited.
I laid down to go to bed at 12:30 and then my water decided to break. I jumped out of bed and made a mess all over my bathroom floor. Randy was mad since he had to stop playing xbox games with Brian to take me to the hospital;) We checked in to the hospital at 1:45 am -sick, I know. I started having contractions at 4 am. Epidural at 6 am. A little before 8 am, the nurse rushed in my room, because baby's heart rate dropped. She had me roll over to my other side and stuck an oxygen mask on my face and the heart rate immediately went back to  normal. She decided to check me and said he was on his way. So they called the doctor and she showed up 8 minutes later. My epidural was amazing! -I still couldn't feel a thing at this point. They got me in position to push and I could feel him already coming out and I hadn't done a thing! So 2 pushes later he was born. The easiest and most pain free delivery I've had so far. Third time is definitely a charm.

Our home is now a diaper-free zone. Woo hoo!
Got to love those Buzz buns!
Too bad it will only last for about the next 6 weeks.

Eber

Can you guess what Deko's favorite song is right now? Every time this song comes on in the car he sings along, even when he's almost asleep! Tripp wanted to sing as well, he is just a bit more goofy. So here is another video of my weird dancing boys:

A mommy's wish

I hope they are still fighting over who gets to do the dishes when they are teenagers.

Oh yeah

Just thought I would let the blogger world know that we are having another boy. I have a feeling that I will always be outnumbered.

Denny Creek

A couple of weeks ago, Wee-Lo and Wazowski invited us to hike Denny Creek with them. So we all loaded up in our Explorer and started this crazy adventure. Here are the little terds -running before the hike even started! You will see what happens later.

The munchkins right at the beginning of the trailhead (sorry for the blurry pic, I would have taken another one, but Deko jumped off the log)

This was my view most of the way up. I didn't mind;)
I enjoyed it until Deko fell asleep on my back. Can you see him sprawled out on Randy's lap? I stayed with Deko at this spot while the rest of the group hiked higher to the falls.
 Isn't it beautiful?
Not sure where this kid learned to pose.
Oh yeah, that's where (they are both making goofy faces)
So pretty, wish I could have seen it in person. Maybe next time.

There was also a natural water slide that I watched some cute crazy Asian girls going down. The water was beyond freezing and I thought they were totatlly nuts, but fun to watch. Can't wait for the next family-friendly hike!

The reason....

for my lack of sleep lately. This child can not be contained. He can also open doors and disable child safety door knobs. Someone help me!
This is how I find him alot -sleeping with his brother. We always move him to his crib when we go to bed, but occasionally he climbs back in bed with him. So sweet and yet soooo naughty!
Not sure why blogger turned this pic, but I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.

Big 4

My little monster turned 4 today! A lady in my ward made this fun balloon bouquet for him. It's a good thing I took a pic since it didn't even last 2 hours at our house before the kids were popping them with pens. Not sure if you can see Deko's ridiculously filthy face in this pic or not.
Free lunch started at the school across the street today. So we took some cupcakes to share with friends. Tripp wanted strawberry cupcakes with green (cream cheese) frosting. They were super yummy! We played at the park afterwards in the beautiful sunshine.
Tripp wanted to eat at Burger King for dinner. We ate and played on the big toy there. He got an Iron Man lunch box and was excited about it. He told me that he likes Birthdays so I guess he had a pretty good day. Happy Birthday Trippy!

For Silly Sar

This post is for Sarah and my mom-who just can't handle waiting for the news to get out. I am pregnant! I just so happen to be due on Christmas. Can you think of a worse due date than that? So seriously, if there are any other prego ladies out there who want to switch due dates, mine is up for grabs. It would be nice to have baby a few weeks early-say on 12-12-12. Tripp was 2 weeks early and Deko came on his due date, so we'll just have to see what happens with this one.
On another note, this is my little Deko in time-out. He was so cute sitting there that I couldn't help but take a pic of him. Which I think completely defeated the purpose of time-out since he whipped around and gave me a big grin after I took the picture. Oh naughty boys, I agree with Tripp -he better be getting a baby sister this time!

Preschool Days

Today was my last day teaching these preschool clowns. It was fun! I usually put on a clip of Sesame Street for the letter of the day. I thought it was funny that they all wanted to squish together on the same couch. Left to right: Kobi, Kinley, Gabe, Lilah, and Tripp.
Today was the letter E. So I made Edible finger paint. It is just pudding and food coloring. They loved it! I gave them spoons at the end to eat it-which I think was their favorite part.
And Deklan likes to feel like he is part of the group, so he is up there eating with the rest of the hoodlums.
I didn't want to send these soggy masterpieces home with them. Probably not the best thing to carry in a car. Got to love Deko's in the bottom right corner. He was only interested in eating. I figured I should pull the camera out at least once during preschool. I should have taken pics when I had the letter B -We celebrated the letter B's birthday. They even sang to the letter and blew out a candle. Oh well, there's always next year, right?

Made me giggle

I was taking pics to post our apartments online and this little stinker literally ran into my shot. His cheesy grin makes me laugh everytime I look at it. What do I do with this little naughty cheeseball?

Experiment

Awhile back my grandpa sent me an email about cooler corn. Basically you put ears of corn in a cooler and then cover it with boiling water. Close the lid and in 30 minutes you have perfectly cooked corn that stays hot in the cooler. This is great to try unless you have a son named Tripp. He did what he does best-ignore his mama. He got up on top of my cooler and jumped off of it -knocking it over. The boiling water went all over the floor. It came towards me(barefoot), I screamed and jumped out of the water (no burns). I then ran to Deko and threw him on the couch -somehow he was standing in the right spot. The boiling water went around him on both sides. Then I picked up my screaming Trippy who was wearing ankle socks, and ran him to the sink and filled it up with cold water. His socks held the water on his skin -giving him 2nd degree burns around his ankle. And the poor guy has enormous blisters.
I took him to a clinic and the doctor there thought it might be a 3rd degree burn since he hadn't been complaining about pain -the second day after he was burned. She thought there might be nerve damage. She then told me to take him to the emergency room of a big hospital. I took him to the hospital and he got to sit in a bed and watch cartoons until the doctor came to look at him. He told me it was only 1st and 2nd degree burns. Wow, thanks for that waste of time.
Tripp did really well while everyone examined his ankle and I thought he needed an "owie present." We went to the store and this is what he picked out. He's been wearing it nonstop ever since.
Maybe, just maybe this kid will start listening to me when I tell him not to do something. We'll see.
