My latest adventure has been attempting to learn Russian. Randy served his mission in Ukraine, so I thought it would be neat to learn the language. I got a preloaded mp3 player from the library with Russian lessons on it, and the first day I tried it Randy was with me and he said he couldn't understand what I was trying to say. It's difficult for my tongue to spit out some of those crazy sounds. But I've been practicing for a week and Randy said I'm starting to sound pretty good. I can only say a handful of words but I'm working on it. The title means the Russian language. I found out that Tripp speaks Russian too, he says "Da," all the time and that means "yes." And of course I had to post some pics of my handsome man.
I love this pic! He's in a tigger robe that is way too small for him, but still adorable.
Tripp has decided he is big enough to feed himself. Which makes feeding times extremely difficult and messy. Not only was he covered in rice cereal but I was as well. (seriously covered, it was on my face, neck, shirt, and pants.)
And we went to the doctor today and when we were checking in, Randy saw this sticker in the basket. So I just had to take it. Pretty sweet, huh? I don't usually find my name on those keychain and licence plate trinkets, so I thought it was pretty cool to find it on a sticker.

Hey guys! How are things going for you!
I'm glad you like Tasha. Have you ever seen their show. Tripp might like them, at least soon. It's the Backyardigans, they sing and dance and have a great time. It's a Nick Jr show. you should give them a try if you haven't seen them. Tripp is adorable by the way!
It's quite entertaining when they start feeding themselves. Emma flung a spoonful of yogurt at me once and it took all I had not to laugh.
Wowzers.. you are awesome to try and learn the Russian language. Jeff's grandparents went to Ukraine to work on it's government and it just sounds like a scary place to me! Cute pix of your boy and awesome sticker!
I keep laughing looking at that picture of Tripp in his Tigger robe! Scandalous! hehe jk. I haven't been brave enough to let Allie eat by herself. She gets it all over us now just by coughing or sticking out her tongue and blowing!
Can't wait to see you guys in a couple months! He is so freakin' handsome. And Russian?! That has to be up there on the scale of diificulty. But if Randy can figure it out, Anybody can!
That's so neat that you're learning a new language! I love the pic of Trip in his robe...too cute! I still can't believe he's standing so well all by himself.
hey guys!
really random comment here....but i'm planning my 10 year high school reunion and we need a dj. i remembered randy doing that on the side or something. anyways--we're just looking to find someone who isn't lame. it's not until august 29th....and there's 3 other people planning this thing.....drop me a line!
I enjoyed reading this post. Way to take on Russian. Soon you and Randy will be able to speak in your very own secret love language. Well, that is, unless there's someone else in the room who understands it too.
Tripp is so cute in that teenie Tigger robe with his little chunker legs sticking out!!
Good luck with Russian. I hear it is really hard. You are a good wife to learn a new language so you can talk to your husband. I love the sticker. My name is the same way...I never find my name on cool little collectable items. Thanks for sharing the cute pictures!
