Who knew?

I thought this was funny. I had Randy take the quiz and he was an Emmett.

Pumpkin Magic

We carved pumpkins a few nights ago. Doesn't Tripp look excited?

What a little stink!
For Halloween, Randy is dressing up as Wolverine, Tripp is going to be Superman, and I am going to be Batgirl. So we carved our pumpkins to match our costumes.

Fun Stuff

We love this crawl-along toy. I think Randy and I have more fun playing with this toy than Tripp does. He's so cute!

This is a fun little park that is close to our home. It has walking trails that run through it and a cool little rock wall to climb.
Look at my strong little man!

Meeker Mansion

On Saturday, we went to the Meeker Mansion. They were holding their annual "Cider-squeeze" event. There were lots of people making apple cider with these awesome presses. This is a pic of the front of the mansion.

There's Ezra Meeker. He was the first mayor of Puyallup and he travelled the pioneer trail the most times, restored it, and marked it for future generations to enjoy. He was also the Hop king of America.
The apples were pretty much ground up in these presses. There were apple pieces flying everywhere. Juice would go into the bucket at the bottom and they had a strainer over it when they poured them into the jugs.

And this is the strangest part of the whole day. When I took this picture, that ghastly woman wasn't there. But when I uploaded it to my computer, there she was. I think it was Ezra Meeker's wife! SPOOKY!

Marathon -Woo Hoo!

We ran a half marathon on Saturday and it was awesome. I love running in the fall. The leaves are starting to change colors and it was beautiful! Here's Randy taking a pack of GU at mile 9. He wouldn't slow down for my sis to take another pic of him. He placed 17th in his age group and ran the half in under 2 hours! I didn't do as well. But I still had fun.

Do you absolutely love my flaming purple shorts?

These are the sweet shirts and medals we got from the marathon. We want to run the marathon relay next year, anyone want to join us?

Weekend Shananigans

The first thing we did on Saturday was go to the farmer's market. It was huge! Tripp enjoyed chewing on his buckle the entire time. When we pulled him out of the backpack he had a red line across his face like the Joker from Batman. Check out the great stuff we got from the market!

We also went to this open house at the Fire station. I got a bike helmet for $6! In this town you are required to wear a helmet if you are on a bike. So now I can go on bike rides with Randy. and Tripp got this sweet firefighter hat. I didn't have the camera with me so I had to take these pics at home. They had a lot of fun stuff for kids. They even had calendars with half-naked hot firemen and they were signing them! -I really wanted one.

We also blessed Tripp on Sunday. They read our names in the ward as "Randy and Tausha and their baby Elliott." WHAT?!?! Not only did they get my name wrong but Tripp's completely wrong. It was pretty funny.

This is Tripp's new favorite thing to do. I felt bad because he went through a short stage where he wouldn't keep his tongue in his mouth and I never got a pic of it. So I had to make sure I got a video of this new obsession.

My Precious -Randy hates it when I say that!

This is Tripp's new walker. It's hard to tell in the pic above, but his feet are dangling in the air. I found out that he fits in it perfectly when it's folded up. (the pic below). He still has plenty of room for his feet and he loves to suck on all of the toys.
This is what I saw in front of my apartment yesterday. Luckily, the firefighters went into the building across from us. And it must not have been anything too serious because they weren't here very long.

Tripp likes to watch his daddy play Halo on the love sac.
In this pic, he's wearing a newborn onesie and 6 month pants. My baby is just too long! At his 2 month appointment he was 25 inches long. And I'm sure he's grown since then.
