Visit

Grandma Keri came to visit and spoiled us for a few days. Tripp has wanted her to paint a Hulk on his wall since we first started talking about looking for a house. So he was thrilled when she created this masterpiece for him. And then he asked her to paint a King Kong fighting him. Little stinker! Thank you Grandma Keri! You need to visit us again soon!
Now let's hope we can keep our house so we can enjoy this painting, because we all know that if it was up to Bryan Biddulph we would be living in a cardboard box on the street.
Mom was able to snap a few family pics for us. It is close to impossible to get these boys to cooperate for a picture. This is the best we could do. Tripp is hiding a cookie in his shorts, who knows what Raidon is looking at, Deko's grin gives me the willies, and Baine is passed out.
Raidon loves baby Baine. We are still working on being gentle. He loves to touch his head, poke him in the eye, and point out his nose.
He also loves to hold him
 and give him loves.
And we always love those sweet sleep smiles.

He's finally here!

Despite all the stress and torment my family has been subjected to these past few months we managed to have a healthy baby boy on Monday, June 2nd. This guy apparently wanted to write his own "entering the world" story because this pregnancy and delivery was completely different than my other babies. First he was overdue by 4 days. I have never gone over my due date before. That morning I had just scheduled an appointment to be induced on Wednesday -I guess I should have scheduled it a long time ago if that's all it took to get him out.
I started having really strong contractions while I was showing an apartment. It was tough to put on my best face during that showing. Once I got home, I tried to do a little more work for the apartments on the computer, but the contractions were super strong and 3 minutes apart so I told Randy that it was time to go to the hospital. He couldn't reach people to watch our kids and he finally had to go pick up cousin Jordan and bring him to our home so we could go. While Randy was gone, Raidon decided to run into me and head-butt me in the belly, Deko needed help in the bathroom, Tripp was laughing at my agonizing faces, and Raidon needed a diaper change. No rest for me!
We arrived at the hospital at 6:15pm and Baby was born at 7pm. Yeah, way too fast. Don't you just love it when the nurses don't believe anything you say. Once we got there we told them that my babies come fast and that I needed an epidural 20 minutes ago. They continued to take their time and not listen to me. Needless to say, this was my first NATURAL birth. I don't recommend them. I'm still a bit traumatized by the whole experience. Once they put me in the delivery room and finally got the anesthetist in the room, they decided I would only have time for a spinal. They rolled me on my side and the guy cleaned my back and that's when the contractions got out of control and my water broke. I felt him shift completely down and of course I was screaming my head off. The nurses yelled at me to stop pushing, but I wasn't. I could feel my body pushing the baby out and I had no control over it.-I couldn't stop it. At one point the nurse grabbed my shoulders, told me to stop screaming, that I was going to have a natural birth, and that I would feel amazing in 20 minutes. What in the world is she smoking? I somehow missed the amazing feeling part, because all I felt was drained and exhausted. Baby came out in 2 pushes. All wrinkly from being cooked for too long. 8 lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long. A sweet healthy baby boy.
We were still undecided on a name. So we wrote several names on the white board in our room and every time a nurse came in, we had them vote for their favorite. One nurse kept popping in just to see the score. The winner was Baine Dermond. In Hawaiian, it means long-awaited child. It was so fitting for our sweet baby B! All this baby wants to do is eat. Tripp has been a great helper in that department. He is an awesome big brother. Deklan loves the baby too and Raidon loves to poke him.
We feel so happy and blessed to have this sweet spirit in our home! Thank you to everyone who has brought meals or helped with my children this past week. It means a lot to my family and I found that last night in my prayers I felt so overwhelmed with the love that everyone has shown us and so blessed to live here. Even though the never-ending lawsuit nightmare isn't over, I know my Heavenly Father loves us and knows our needs and I have no doubt that we will get through this trial as well. Again Thank you for your prayers and support!

Relax

Sarah invited us to go to a beach house with her and her family in April. It was only for a few days but it was some much needed relaxation. Definitely short-lived though....
Randy said this is the only place where you can wear your swim trunks and a winter coat at the same time. It was overcast when we got there, rained all day the second day, and the last day was sunny but windy.

Deklan fell in the water and got his coat drenched, so he sat by the fire the rest of the time.
Raidon loved walking into the water. Crazy kid, it was freezing!

We went to the Tillamook factory on the rainy day.

This is how Raidon spent the entire tour.

Here are some pics from the sunny day on the beach.

Deklan's zipper on his coat broke and he wouldn't wear it. So he is wearing Raidon's coat.
And Raidon is wearing Deko's coat.

Braden snapped this family pic for us.
These two loved playing with the ladybugs in the bush by the house.

Thanks Sar for inviting us! Hopefully I won't be prego next time :) I have 10 days left and am so ready to evict this baby!

Deklan and Raidon

This is my dancing boy. Anytime there is a noise he is trying to dance to it. I could watch this video all day. He has the best dance moves of any 1 year old out there!
This is a name from a book we read called "Tikki Tikki Tembo." I just thought it was funny that he memorized the name perfectly. As you might notice we were just sitting down eating lunch when he started chanting the name.
Deklan is my gardening buddy. He checks on our plants everyday to see if they have grown. He is always discouraged to find that we don't have any blueberries yet.

Mini-me?

He thinks he is funny.
Do you think he looks like me with his big belly? Yes, I know he is in desperate need of a haircut. Please help me convince Randy of this.
 Baby Genius?
Apparently he wanted the rainbow colors to go this way. It was so interesting watching him put the rings on and then take them off because it just wasn't right to him. I didn't help him at all. We'll see if he is a smarty pants like Tripp.

Looks like....

We are still building our all boy basketball team. Just need 1 more to complete! Too many boys in this house for my taste. Let the wild craziness continue!

Merry Christmas!

I have the most goofy boys ever. It is almost impossible to take a picture without at least one of them making a face. A lady in our  ward made the matching ties and headband. We won it at the YW/YM auction.

2013 was good for our family. Randy still works at MYCO and has done really good this year in sales.  He was released from scouts in the fall which made me happy but made Randy sad. I enjoy having him home more often. Now he teaches once a month in Elders Quorum. We also moved into a new house in October which released Randy from the maintenance job at the apartments. So the boys and I have even more time with him.
I am still the resident manager at the apartments which can be a hassle at times. I am still the Secretary in Primary and I love it!  I enjoy working with the kids on Sunday.

Raidon just turned one and is my little ball of energy. He is always smiling and getting into everything he is not supposed to.  He especially loves the toilet and I am pretty sure Deko gave him his first swirly the other day. He is also my lightweight. At his doctor appointment we found out he isn't even on the charts. He is 16 pounds so the doctor gave us suggestions on how to fatten him up.

Tripp (5) loves going to Kindergarten and learning. The teachers love him at school and tell me he is a great leader and example to the other kids. He has developed into an amazing reader. Tripp is an awesome big brother who helps out all the time. He still loves all things involving superheroes or ninjas. He is also gaining an interest in magic and can perform an awesome disappearing coin trick.
Deklan (3) loves to help mommy in the kitchen. He is great at cleaning up with me even when it wasn't his mess. He also says the funniest things that make me laugh every day.  He loves to play tag and zombies with daddy. He loves the Incredibles and could watch that movie every day if I let him. He is my little cuddle bug who tells me that he will be my baby forever.

We will have a new addition to our family in May. We find out in a few weeks if baby will be a brother or a sister.  Deklan thinks I ate the baby and tells me not to eat anymore or it will hurt my tummy.

We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a rocking new year!
