Goofy Boys

We moved this month into a tiny 700 sq. ft. apartment. Randy and I are now assistant apartment managers here and get to deal with all sorts of crazy things. It's interesting to say the least. I think this was the last picture I took in our old apartment. Tripp is in love with the floors. He rides his bike around the island about 20 times a day. The first few weeks we lived here, Tripp kept asking if he could go home now. It was so sad, but I think he has finally adjusted. There is a play area right outside our door where he has met several friends. And this is where you can find Deklan most of the time. He eats a ton! I feel like I'm feeding the tank constantly. And we recently painted the island. I will post pics when its completed. We also just reupholstered some chairs I got off craigslist, I'll post those too. When I cook at this bar, I feel like I should be on Rachael Ray or something. I love it! Oh my little man is so messy!

And since the second bedroom is so small, Tripp had to downsize his bed. This spoiled boy was sleeping on a full size bed, but now he's on a twin. The poor guy has only fallen off a few times. And he's holding up his new found love, dinosaurs. I believe we have read every dinosaur book in the library and watched every dinosaur video on Netflix.
I love this happy little guy! It is so easy to get him to smile.
My favorite part of the day: When my boys play together.
I love these goofy boys!

Church Ball

I played in a wild church basketball game a few weeks ago with my in-laws. I had a lot of fun and got pretty beat up. I think all of you will agree with me after watching this video, that my MIL Carol is amazing for playing with us. She was awesome. Randy filmed about 6 minutes of the game, so I didn't have much to work with, and this hardly gives the ladies justice. I believe Jackie had 24 points, Jill had 14, Tina had 10, I had 8, Karen had 2, and Sydney had 2. Sorry Jenny, I didn't look to see how many points you made. Can't wait to play with these crazy ladies again!

Valentine

We had a pretty sweet Valentine's day. Tripp and I made our 3rd annual scavenger hunt for Randy. We even had a clue taped to Tripp's belly! (thanks for the idea Tera:) The hunt ended with two heart shaped boxes, one filled with Reese's for Randy and the other Spiderman candy for Tripp. Randy surprised me by pulling out presents from the closet. He got me an enormous box of chocolates and a digital camera since our other one bit the dust a few weeks ago. So I felt very spoiled. Here's some pics of my boys in their red shirts.
I decided to make chocolate dipped strawberries this year for Valentine's Day. We also ate lobster tail for the first time and it was delicious! Call me a nerd, but I looked on youtube to see how to cook and eat it. We might have to make the lobster tail a tradition as well.
Deklan loved the strawberries!
And Tripp only ate the chocolate off of them
My sweet Valentines!
Pretty sure I'm the luckiest girl in the world!

WHAT?!?!

6 Months ALREADY!!!And sitting like a champ! It's not difficult to get Deklan to smile. He is such a happy baby and a joy to have around. Sometimes he just looks at Tripp and starts laughing.
We just started him on cereal and he wants to feed himself. I thought I could feed him for awhile before this happened, but Deklan had other plans. We discovered a few nights ago that his food of choice is a lime. Randy handed him one and he went to town on it and didn't even make a sour face. Crazy kid! He also has two little bottom teeth that he likes to bite mommy with. -and apparently Tripp's ear as well :(
Deklan was gaining weight pretty well but has just recently decided to watch his figure. He is now 16lbs 4oz and in the 33%. He started off in the 70%.
He's only 3 months old in this last pic, but it's so cute I had to share it. He seems to be growing up too fast for me. We love our little Mr. Chubbo!
