And They're Off!!!

Memorial Day Weekend went racing by as we went to Emerald Downs to watch a little horse racing with ma & pa and the Brian/Jenny family. It was a pretty mucky day at the track and the track status was "sloppy" to begin with, however, the weather actually cooperated halfway through the races so we even got to see some racing on the wet/fast track.Anyway, we had fun rootin' and hollerin' and the kids got to enjoy some other activities as well.

The Race Fans from left:Titon, Jenny, Hitler(I mean Brian), Carol, Wilbur, Washy, & Trippman

What's horse racing without a bet?Yes, there's a first for everything.Oh, and if you couldn't tell by Tripp's face, he's in this to win it!

Watching my "Exacta" bet win me some moolah and the horses who helped me out!

Tripp got to enjoy some activities as well, like having a basketball painted on his hand, and riding the ponies while Daddy got all muddy sloshing with the ponies.

Emerald Downs...Good Times!

Favorite

This is my calling. It's my favorite so far. I get to make cookies for the Relief Society ladies for their birthdays. These are fun to make, but starting to be exhausting -especially when my big belly gets in the way. See the ones without names, those are my back ups cuz I have a tendency to snap their heads off when I package them. but I'm happy to say that I didn't decapitate any ladies this time. The only downside to this calling is that I can't eat sugar cookies anymore. I've made so many this year that they aren't even appealing to me. I have 3 ladies leftover, any takers?

It's 5 o'clock somewhere

Now you know I live with crazy boys. The sad thing is, this isn't even close to the first time they have taken shots together. It's only the first time I grabbed the camera. Tripp loves taking lime juice shots. I always catch him stealing the bottle out of the fridge.

heehee

Shhhhh....... While Randy was at scouts, I gave Tripp a pedicure. He LOVED it! And I had a lot of fun pampering him. Don't you think I need a little girl?

Check it out!

This isn't a very good clip, but I was so proud of him I had to post it. He's been sitting on this trike for awhile and we've just pushed him around and for the first time he pedaled by himself. I was so happy and excited that I almost cried, doesn't help that I'm super emotional right now. Makes me overjoyed and sad at the same time to watch my baby grow up.
